A Certified 6-Week Course in ACT-based Mindful Movement, ideal for practitioners wanting to both learn or share with others.
Updated and redesigned!

Introducing a brand new and creative approach to wellbeing.....for you and your clients

Are you a practitioner interested in sharing Acceptance and Commitment therapy/training (ACT) with others? Are you either a beginner or expert in ACT or Mindful Movement? Want to learn how to creatively combine ACT and mindful movement?

If so, we have the perfect program for you!

Introducing our unique Certified 6-Week Course in ACT-based Mindful Movement, updated and redesigned! Remember, ACT is recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a highly effective approach to stress management.

ACT is a highly flexible and well-researched model used by everyone from Olympic Gold Medal Winners to therapists working for the National Health Service.

Mindful movement makes mindfulness and ACT more accessible for more people.

We believe this mindful movement and ACT combined approach would be beneficial for millions of people seeking to improve their mental health.

Here's 3 key benefits of the program
  • Improved Mental Health: Both Mindful Movement and ACT have been found to be highly effective in improving mental health. Mindful Movement can help to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, while ACT can help people to develop greater psychological flexibility, allowing them to better manage difficult thoughts and emotions and increased meaning and resilience.

  • Increased Mindfulness: Mindful Movement is a form of moving meditation, and when combined with ACT, it can enhance mindfulness and self-awareness. By incorporating Mindful Movement into an ACT-based approach, participants can learn to bring greater awareness and acceptance to their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations.

  • Enhanced Physical Health: Mindful Movement can also have a positive impact on physical health. It can improve flexibility, balance, and coordination, and can help to reduce pain and inflammation. When combined with ACT, participants can learn to develop a more holistic approach to their health and wellbeing, promoting both physical and mental wellness.

Is ACT-based Mindful Movement for beginners or experts?
This program is designed for all practitioners - beginners or experts.

So even if you know nothing about ACT, that's fine. And the same goes for the Mindful Movement. You can be a total beginner and that's totally fine.

If you are well-versed in either, you will still have plenty to learn. Why? Because the mindful movement practices and metaphors we've developed are brand new and will be useful for beginners and experts alike.
How the training works

Each week, we will tackle one of the 6 flexibility skills of ACT. And then, you'll learn and practice the mindful movement exercises that go with them.

Our program is designed to be informative, grounding and fun. You will learn a brand new sequence of 18 specially created mindful movements that embody the 6 flexibility skills of ACT.

Every session, after you've been taught 3 specific mindful movements, you will be put into small groups online and asked to practice teaching the movement to each other. That's the powerful part. By the end of the training, you will be one of the first in the world to experience ACT through mindful movement.

Our program is adaptable for all, from total beginners to more experienced teachers of mindful movement. The mindful movements in this class will be very simple and gentle. We will also show you how to adapt these easy movements if you can't stand or move as easily. You can even visualise if you can't do the movements. This program is all about accessibility and flexible.
