The first step to become a Mindfulness teacher it to take our Teach Mindfulness Training. It is our core course that takes you through the journey of sharing your experience with mindfulness with your friends, family and clients. Learn how to translate your knowledge so that it can be valuable to others.
Add-on extra courses
This next step is not required but would expand your knowledge and business offerings. 
Identify who you plan to work with and grow with one or both of our add-on courses - choose Advanced Kindfulness or the corporate-world ready Mindfuness At Work add-ons.

Once you've selected your journey with us, start your learning. As Teach Mindfulness has more live sessions, we keep a regular start date schedule of about 3-4 times per year. Prepare for the course by going through some suggested materials and expanding your mindfulness practice even more. 
Get certified
Follow your course schedule and projects to complete our training programs. 
Once you complete the final project in each course, you'll be given a score and further recommendations so you can grow while teaching mindfulness and kindfulness in a personal or corporate setting. You'll be issued a certificate for your expertise.

Teach Mindfulness Online
This innovative learning approach provides mindfulness enthusiasts with live online teacher training, with best-selling, mindfulness author, Shamash Alidina. Over the period of the course (the first week is an orientation session), you are asked to practice the recommended mindfulness meditations and exercises daily, read from our course books in preparation for discussion in the next session, and journal about your meditation experience. We call it ‘home experiments’, not homework. You will also create a fun and creative project at the programme’s culmination.

Our Teach Mindfulness program is based on the philosophy of several different schools of mindfulness. Firstly the scientific approach of MBSR and MBCT developed by Jon Kabat Zinn and Mark Williams. Then it's also influenced by the approach of Kindfulness, talked about by Ajahn Brahm - essentially combining mindfulness with kindness and compassion. And finally it has a light hearted approach which I feel is important nowadays too.

We believe in flexibility rather than teaching a rigid structure, so although you are trained in teaching an 8-week mindfulness course, we encourage you to be creative and use your experience and style to influence the way you design and deliver your mindfulness classes, with lots of smiles and enthusiasm we hope.

A typical session includes theory, opportunity to listen to a meditation being guided, and training on how to teach this particular session to a group and some discussion over the key theme of the session. You can ask questions live as we go along. There will be a Q&A session at the end of each session.
